American Idol

Well I'm Back...

big deal... I know.

Wife has been home nearly all day long.
Earlier I was in bed... I was so sleepy I got up... but found that at 2:00 I was back in bed. Got up about 4:30... I still am sleepy... oh so very sleepy.

Watching American Idol... so far only 2 have gone... don't care for the fist one... She ain't bad... but she doesn't show star quality. 2 he was not bad... star quality? I don't know... maybe.

3. Ain't bad... Earth Wind and Fire... he is close to a karaoke but good. Star quality... Maybe.

4. She is not bad... not the winner but good... star quality... yes.

Commercials... loads of them... all suck..... badly...

5. Normally I wold rant on him... tonight all I can say is what the f! For me he did the wrong song. Sure he in gay... that is not why I dislike him... I disagree with the judges. Star quality... yes.

Commercials... again... damn this is getting to be to much.

6. he wasn't bad... he was not good. He was just okay... Simon was right... oh well...

7. He was okay... the finals are going to look the same... We may have a small shake up... but I don't know.

"Idol" inspires

Tonight is the second annual Idol Gives Back special on American Idol, and it promises to be a celebrity-studded event. Due to the success of last year's event, it is going to be longer, it has brought in even bigger performers and more corporate sponsors. Idol producers have set a goal of $100 million in donations and pledges — $25 million more than last year's total.

But I'm getting ahead of myself, because there were performances last night, to the tune of “inspirational songs.” And I have to admit that for the first time all season, I don't have any major complaints!

Syesha Mercado got things started for the ladies by singing former Idol winner Fantasia Barrino's first single, “I Believe.” Randy may have thought she got in over her head on the performance, but I begrudgingly agree with Paula Abdul's grammatically correct yet awkward statement, “I just think hands down this is one of your most shining nights.”

Which two are going to get the boot tonight? My understanding is that American Idol will take the two lowest scores from two weeks in a row and boot the two tonight. Now if you think Jordan Sparks had the lowest last night, I say she had the highest last week, so she can't go! Can she? I was never good at math, all I know is that either her or Malinda Dolittle will most likley be # 1 & #2, but stay tuned, I'll post tonight after the results.....Y
